How can SMEs Scale Exponentially?

As history has shown us, today’s digital platforms can open up the potential for Small and Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) to reshape the industrial landscape. And the network effect plays a major role in the success or failure of businesses today.

The most successful companies and products of the internet era have all been leveraging network effects, where the network becomes more valuable to users as more people use it. The value is not determined by only the number of users, but instead by the number of interactions established between users/consumers and producers/service providers.This is as true of companies like Amazon and Google as it is for open source projects like Wikipedia and some cryptocurrencies.
